Troop 224 is an active organization that it is comprised of a Pack, Boy and Girl Troops.  Troop 224 takes part in camping, hiking, day activities, and community service outreach.

We recognize the importance of balance in a scout's life, with school demands, religious activities, sports. and social events. Therefore, the scouting experience is flexible and specific to each scout.

Troop 224's program succeeds through a combination of the leadership, spirit, and energy of its scouts with the mentoring efforts of its adult leaders who volunteer to make the best experiences for the Scouts.

Both young men and women interested in joining Troop 224 will find a program that stresses the long-term journey of scouting, one that lasts several years.

Troop 224 represents the South Broward local area, with scouts and leaders from all the surrounding municipalities. Our meetings take place Tuesday evenings 7:15 p.m. at Sunshine Ranches Equestrian Park @5840 SW 148th Ave, Southwest Ranches, FL 33330
